2013 Navy Co-Ed Winter Rowing Clinics *maximum number of athletes (48) per clinic
This
one-day, co-ed clinic
is conducted on the grounds of the historic
Novice Clinic: for athletes between the ages of 14-18 who have never rowed before. This clinic will teach athletes the basics of the rowing stroke on the stationary erg machines and in our indoor rowing tanks. This clinic is perfect for high school freshmen, who are looking to join their school's rowing team in the spring season.
Winter Training Clinic: Advanced Rowers: for athletes between the ages of 14-18 who have at least 1 year of rowing experience. The coaching staff focuses on individual improvement both in the indoor rowing tank and on the ergometers. This clinic will enhance the athlete's knowledge of technique, winter training and how to improve rowing strength. Novice Rowers: for athletes between the ages of 14-18 who have never rowed before. This clinic is perfect for high school freshmen, who are looking to join their school's rowing team in the spring season.
Cost and Details: $100 per athlete. Each clinic runs from 8:30 AM to 4 PM and includes lunch. The clinics are first come, first serve but are capped at a maximum of 48 athletes. We do not offer transportation or pick-up at train stations or airports.
Registration: Follow the appropriate link above and pay for the clinic on-line through our navysports.com ticket office. You will need to select the quantity for the clinic, add to cart, and set up an account (unless you have registered for our camps before). You will receive a payment confirmation which guarantees you a place in the clinic. We will then send you an e-mail with complete clinic logistics, including directions, check-in times, what to bring, etc...
